During a student internship in landscaping and gardening, you would typically assist with various tasks such as planting, weeding, watering, and pruning plants. You may also help with landscape design, installation of hardscape features, and maintenance of outdoor spaces. Additionally, you may have the opportunity to learn about soil preparation, pest control, and proper use of gardening tools and equipment. Overall, the internship provides hands-on experience in all aspects of landscaping and gardening, allowing you to gain valuable skills and knowledge in the field. **

I work approximately 40 hours a week in landscaping and gardening. This includes both regular maintenance tasks as well as larger projects such as planting, mulching, and hardscaping. During peak seasons or when there are special events, I may work additional hours to ensure everything is well-maintained and looking its best. **

A customs officer dog handler in customs is a professional who is responsible for working with specially trained dogs to detect and prevent the smuggling of illegal goods and substances across borders. These officers work with their canine partners to search for drugs, explosives, currency, and other prohibited items in luggage, cargo, and vehicles. They play a crucial role in maintaining the security and integrity of borders by using the keen sense of smell and detection abilities of their dogs to identify potential threats. Additionally, they may also be involved in training and caring for their canine partners to ensure they are effective in their duties. **

Customs are traditional practices or rituals that are passed down through generations within a specific culture or society. They often reflect the values, beliefs, and norms of that particular group of people. Customs can include ceremonies, celebrations, behaviors, and etiquette that are considered important or significant within a community. These customs help to create a sense of identity and belonging among individuals who share in these traditions. **

Customs refer to the official department or agency responsible for regulating the flow of goods, people, and information into and out of a country. Customs also involve the duties, taxes, and procedures that must be followed when importing or exporting goods. These regulations are in place to ensure the safety and security of a country, as well as to collect revenue and prevent illegal activities such as smuggling. **

Both customs and care are important in society. Customs help to maintain order and provide a sense of tradition and identity, while care is essential for the well-being and support of individuals. It is important to strike a balance between respecting customs and traditions, while also prioritizing care and empathy for others. Ultimately, a society that values both customs and care is likely to be more harmonious and inclusive. **

Choosing between customs and engineering ultimately depends on your interests, skills, and career goals. If you enjoy working with people, problem-solving, and have an interest in international trade and regulations, customs may be a good fit for you. On the other hand, if you have a passion for designing, creating, and innovating, and enjoy working with technology and machinery, engineering may be the better choice. Consider your strengths, interests, and long-term career aspirations to make the best decision for yourself. **

Customs duty is typically paid at the point of entry into a country, such as at a port or airport. The importer or their customs broker is responsible for declaring the goods and paying the duty to the customs authorities. Customs duty rates are determined based on the classification of the goods according to the Harmonized System (HS) code, which is an internationally standardized system for classifying traded products. Customs authorities use the HS code provided by the importer to determine the applicable duty rate for the specific goods being imported. **
